“I never knew what hospice really meant until recently. When my grandmother was terminally ill our family did not hesitate to call hospice. The day we called, they were at her house. The nurses and doctors went over and above to help us. When she moved to a Hospice center, my grandmother wanted someone to stay with her every night. They brought in two beds for our family to make my grandmother as comfortable as possible. I don’t know what we would have done without them.”
