Though Kathy claims to be tone deaf, she and her twin sister are distant cousins of both Madonna and Celine Dion.

She also is no stranger to client relations or media negotiations, bringing a whirlwind of talent to R/P. Her “go-get-‘em” attitude and history of professional experience make Kathy a valued member of our team.
For more than 10 years, Kathy was Senior Partner and Group Communications Director at MindShare/JWT in Detroit, Michigan. She was responsible for managing multimedia planning and client relationships for major accounts that included Goodyear Tire Company, Domino’s Pizza, Bosch Automotive and Appliances, and Dollar General. Whether overseeing $100+ million budgets or implementing multicultural media programs, Kathy is always on the top of her game.
Prior to joining MindShare, Kathy served as Media Director at a number of agencies in Southeast Michigan, giving her over 20 years of experience including local and national consumer and business-to-business accounts representing diverse industries such as retail, automotive and industrial, among others.
While at McCann Erickson in Troy, Michigan, Kathy directed media planning for the Buick Motor Division and managed the exclusive network radio program for Buick at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Kathy is continually measuring the performance of her plans, conducting post-buy analyses to gauge success and improve future negotiations.
From new business development to an award-winning client service reputation, Kathy’s experience in strategic positioning and negotiation techniques on behalf of clients is second nature to her.
Kathy is a member of the Detroit Advertising Association and sits on the Election and Roster committees for the Adcraft Club of Detroit. She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication.
